Banked bone has been used in countless medical procedures such as spinal fusions and orthopedic procedures for well over 30 years and is widely considered to be among the safest materials used in medicine.

Dr Gadler mixes the patient’s own blood (or PRF) with this graft material which effectively inserts the patient’s own cells into all the holes, nooks and crannies within the particles of bone, which fools the patient’s body into thinking it’s all their bone and ensures faster more complete healing.

Dr Gadler gets better results using this technique than harvesting the patient’s own bone and using it. Not only that but there is far less pain than taking bone from another location on the patient’s body and none of the risks involved in harvesting the patient’s own bone such as nerve damage, failure of bone to grow back into the site it was taken from, fractures, etc.
