First Visit

Your initial appointment typically includes a radiographic, photographic, and physical examination followed by a discussion of your treatment options. In most cases, treatment can be performed on the same day as the consultation. However, if you have a complex medical history or detailed treatment plan, a follow-up evaluation may be required.

To help us provide the best care, please bring the following information to your consultation:

  • Any x-rays taken by a previous dentist (if applicable)
  • A list of medications you are currently taking
  • If you have dental insurance, please bring the necessary completed forms. This will expedite the process and allow us to assist with claims.

IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please notify our office in advance if you have any medical conditions that may impact your treatment (i.e., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, cancer, etc.) or if you are currently taking any medications (i.e., “bone strengthening” medications Fosamax, Boniva, etc.) weight loss or diabetic medications (Wegovy, Ozempic, Rybelsus, etc.) heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).

X-Rays

If your dentist or physician has taken recent x-rays, you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time to do so, you can pick up the x-rays and bring a physical copy with you to your appointment. If additional x-rays are needed, they can be taken at our facility.
